You qualify for a double proxy marriage if one of you is a Montana Resident, or if one or both of you is Active Duty Military.
Sign the contract and complete the forms
The Kit contains instructions for completion of required forms, and instructions to have the forms notarized (either you provide the notary or pay for the electronic notary service) and return to us. Both you and your fiance may separately complete your forms and send directly to us.
Attorney reviews and obtains marriage license
Once all forms are completed, notarized as required, and proof of ID is provided, your marriage application paperwork will be delivered to the attorney to review and submit the forms to the Clerk of Court to obtain your marriage license.
We conduct the Proxy Marriage ceremony
We pick up your marriage license from the clerk, provide the Officiant to conduct your marriage ceremony and two proxies to exchange vows on your behalf. After the Officiant and proxies sign your marriage license, we register your marriage license with the Clerk of Court. We are normally able to complete the marriage process within 2-3 business days, and can often expedite the service upon request, which requires electronic notary services.
You and your spouse receive Marriage Certificates
After your marriage license is registered, the original is sent to you, and a certified copy is sent to each spouse by priority mail. We also email each of you a copy.
Proxy Marriage Fees
We provide proxy marriage services only to couples who want to marry when one party or both is Active Duty Military, or one party is a resident of Montana.
Additional Fees
Apostille Stamp (from MT Secretary of State) – $50
We can obtain an Apostille stamp for you for an additional fee. If one of you is a foreign national, this is often required to provide proof of the marriage.
Expedited Mailing – $75
Expedited mail service, which is faster than priority mail, is available for an additional fee.

If you change your mind, and decide not to marry after signing a contract and paying for our services, the wedding can be cancelled upon written request of either party, so long as the request for cancellation is received prior to the wedding license being issued for a refund of payments made to the party who provided payment, less credit card fees or other fees incurred, such as online notary fees.
